Place registration
To register your own place, type in your street address in the input field on the
main page and click on the "Register place" button. You'll then be presented
with a map and a marker pointing to the street address you entered. Please check
if the position of this marker matches your address.
Fill in your information into the text boxes. A place image is optional. Once you are finished, press the "Submit" button at the bottom
of the page.
You will shortly receive an email with a confirmation link. When you click on that
link, your place will be activated and published. To verify a successful place registration,
move on to the "Place look up" section on this page.
Place look up
Besides using a mobile device that is supported by our PlaceLnk application, you
can also use our manual "Place look up" feature to make sure that your place registration
has been successful.
When you click on the "Place look up using your browser" button on the main page, a new page will appear.
Just enter your street address on this page and click on the "Look up place"
button. That's it.
The resulting table will show you all registered places (including place name, place
image and place web site) for that location.
Place removal
If you would like to remove one or more of your registered places, you can request
your personal removal list.
In the navigation bar on the main page, click on the button "Remove Place".
Enter your email address and press the "Submit" button.
Shortly after you wll receive an email containing removal links for all of your
registered places. To remove a place, just click on the link below the place name.
To check whether the place was successfully removed, you can use the "Place look
up" feature or check on your mobile device.
